This pie NEEDS to be on your table this Fall! I use Granny Smith Apples that are sweetened and spiced with sugar, cinnamon, and a dash of vanilla and then generously drizzled with caramel sauce. It is then topped with a crumbly oat mixture and baked off. When it comes out of the oven I give another generous drizzle of caramel sauce and a sprinkling of flaky sea salt. The only way you can make this pie better is to top it off with some vanilla ice cream - delicious!
